As we continue to grow, we seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Interning Accountant to join our team and support our financial management processes.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Interning Accountant to assist our accounts office. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a final-year student in accounting or finance to gain practical experience and develop professional skills in a dynamic and impactful environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our finance team, using QuickBooks to manage our financial records and support various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Help ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Participate in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Support the finance team with audits and other financial reviews.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the finance manager/Administration.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, policies, Taxation and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
